The Riverdale Home is a row house located in Toronto. The renovation involved opening up the first floor with a new kitchen and open concept living/dining. This eliminated the very tight existing hallway on the first floor. Also part of the renovation was a new layout for the existing bathroom on the second floor and roughing in for a future bathroom and laundry in the basement. A new high efficiency gas furnace was installed to replace the existing oil furnace and a tankless hot water heater was also installed. Medium density spray polyurethane foam insulation was used to achieve maximum thermal performance for the building envelope. Click on the images below for more on the project. |
