Hermitage Cabin, Camp Ahmek, Taylor Statten Camps, Algonquin Park, 1995

This was pure joy to design! This is a little staff cabin perched on the rocky shore of Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park.  It was designed as a simple vertical log cabin to match similar cabins built in the 1930’s.  This was my first design for the Taylor Statten Camps after having been on staff during the summers from 1985 to 1991. The Wapomeo Lodge is another design for these camps.
